Great wines from Campania

Our Winery

Thanks to the incredible fertility of Enotria and its soil, it was possible to give life to wines of the highest level from both white and red grapes. Historically, Campania wines were consumed at the feasts of the Patricians, until the disastrous eruption of the Vesuvius put an end to local cultures. Over the centuries, however, the volcanic lava has generated very fertile soils rich in mineral substances, essential for the production of wines of a unique complexity and elegance.

The terroir
In the Taurasi area, the climate is predominantly continental and characterised by wide temperature ranges. The steep slope of this area means that the vineyards are terraced and situated between 400 and 700 m above sea level, benefiting from the incredible composition of the calcareous and basaltic soils rich in phosphorous and potassium.

Our wines

Vesevo Aglianico Beneventano IGT

The Vesevo vineyards are situated at between 450 and 550 metres above sea level and benefit from the cool breeze blowing off the Bay of Naples. Over the centuries, this breeze has blown volcanic ash from Vesuvius inland to give the soil here a poor, volcanic character.

Ensis Taurasi DOCG

Our vineyards are situated at between 500 and 700 meters above sea level, and are always subject to a cool breeze that blows off the Bay of Naples. This same breeze has, over centuries, blown volcanic ash from Vesuvius inland to give the soil here a poor, volcanic character. Fruit for this wine was sourced from vineyards of over 40 years old able to give the best expression of Taurasi.

Vesevo Falanghina Beneventano IGT

The fruit comes from Benevento area. The vineyards are located at 400-600 mt slm with perfect sun exposure and with the soil composition which match three different elements: volcanic, clay and limestone. These aspects are the perfect ingredients to create a wonderful combination of freshness, flavours and bright acidity.

Vesevo Greco di Tufo DOCG

The wine comes from the perfectly suited area: Avellino. The grapes grows on the seep terraces with perfect exposure to the sun which helps to develop a great balance of aroma and acidity. The soil is mainly volcanic and sandy which gives to the wine also a pleasant touch of minerality.
