Volcanic soils, wine and passion

Our Winery

Our winery is located in the small town of Acerenza, where the pedoclimatic situation is harsh and the volcanic and calcareous soils very rich in potassium and micronutrients. Our vines have struggled for millennia to adapt to this ground and in fact, even today, varieties such as Aglianico and Greco have shown that in these extreme conditions they can produce fruit of a unbeatable quality and personality.

The terroir
In the Vulture area, the climate is continental with cold, rainy winters and summers cooled by the Balkan breezes. Here the climatic conditions and high altitude create an incredible temperature range that, together with the volcanic soils, rich in potassium and minerals, give the wines freshness, flavour and a unique character.
